He has dedicated much of his life to the design of involvement. After contributing to the launch of some iconic video games such as Fifa, The Sims, Harry Potter, Need for Speed, The Simpsons, he has focused a lot of his time to research, both theoretical and applied, into implementing the mechanics and dynamics of gaming into both consumer and enterprise settings. He works as a consultant for numerous Government bodies and Companies, and has also contributed to the development of participatory and interactive practices. He holds a position of University professor and has written a number of books, including "The Art of Involvement" and "Gamification - Video Games in Daily Life".
